An anime hoodie is the piece a fan wears most, so it is worth choosing well. Two decisions matter more than any other: the blank - the garment the design is printed on - and the series. This guide covers the four hoodie blanks Torazen uses, who each one suits, and every series with enough hoodies to choose from, with the one customers buy most.
All 98 hoodies are in the hoodies, zip-ups and classic hoodies collections; prices below are regular prices and show in your own currency.
Pick the blank first
Every hoodie in the archive is made on one of four blanks, and the product page names which. They differ in cloth, weight and cut, and that changes how the hoodie feels far more than the print does.
- Vintage pullover (82 in the archive, $78) - 270gsm cotton with a vintage wash, pre-shrunk, cut oversized with a drop shoulder. Most of the hooded artwork in the archive is on this blank.
- Vintage zip-up (6, $78) - the same washed cotton with a raglan sleeve. Relaxed, made to wear open over a tee.
- Classic fleece pullover (8, $75) - 380gsm cotton-polyester fleece with a plush inside. Heavier and warmer, a relaxed cut that holds its shape.
- Classic zip-up (2, $75) - 380gsm combed cotton, a standard fit that is true to size.
Which hoodie for which person
For the biggest artwork, the vintage pullover: most large back prints are made on it, and the washed cotton drapes rather than standing away from the body.
For layering, the vintage zip-up. Worn open over a tee it shows the tee's design and its own back print; it is cut relaxed with room to layer.
For warmth, the classic fleece. At 380gsm with a plush fleece inside it is the heaviest option, and the one to choose for someone who runs cold.
For a gift when you are unsure of the size, the vintage pullover again: it is cut oversized, so their usual size already gives the relaxed look. The anime gift guide covers the rest, including the gift card.

Sizing in one paragraph
The vintage and classic pullovers share one chart: 61 cm across the chest in M, 2 cm more for each size up, S to 3XL. Take your usual size for a relaxed fit or one size up for the boxier look. The vintage zip is charted differently, with its shoulder and sleeve measured from the center back of the collar; how to size an oversized hoodie has every table in centimeters and inches and shows how to measure a hoodie you already own.
Price, shipping and returns
The cotton hoodies are $78 and the fleece ones $75, and that holds for every series. A hoodie plus a tee passes the $100 free-shipping line. Returns run 30 days from delivery. Exchanges: you pay the postage to send the item back to our returns address, and we ship your new size free, so measuring first saves a trip. The order-by dates for Christmas are in the anime gift guide.
